Asantehene Was Afraid of Speaking the Truth when ‘Pharoah’ Akufo-Addo Was in Power – A Plus Claims

The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Constituency, Kwame Asare Obeng, aka A Plus, claims the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, was afraid to speak up during the reign of former President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Speaking during an interview with Adom FM, A Plus said Akufo-Addo ruled with an iron fist, rendering even powerful rulers like Otumfuo mute.
The former musician furiously pushed back against constant criticism of the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government by the NPP, wondering why they have the temerity to speak so much after the manner in which they ruled.
Obeng called on the NPP to allow the new government some room to fix the damage they have wrecked on the Ghanaian economy.
A Plus in the same interview, accused the NPP of intensifying their involvement in illegal mining (galamsey) as a means of disrupting the operations of the current NDC government.
“Ever since the NDC won power, [NPP] decided to intensify their galamsey efforts to disgrace John Mahama. NPP operatives are the only people still engaged in galamsey in this country…it is a deliberate plot to sabotage the GOLDBOD initiative,” he said.
